the11 Select

Overview

the11 Select team tryouts are designed to identify players for our competitive tournament teams. These sessions provide an opportunity to showcase ability in a high-tempo, game-based environment.

Players are expected to arrive prepared to compete and demonstrate focus, effort, and a strong understanding of the game.

Younger, skilled players are encouraged to participate. Players outside the U11–U14 age range are also welcome if they have the ability to compete.

Evaluation Format

Each session will consist primarily of small-sided games and match play. Players will be evaluated in realistic game environments that highlight technical ability, decision-making, movement off the ball, and competitiveness.

Our coaching staff will assess players throughout the session, focusing on technical quality under pressure, game intelligence, work rate, attitude and coachability, and overall impact in the game.

Selection Process

All players will be evaluated within their respective age group session. Selections will be based on overall performance during the tryout. Selected players will be contacted within a few days following tryouts with next steps regarding team placement.

Additional Information

No prior experience within the11 program is required. This is a free event — no payment is needed to participate.

Players should arrive early and bring a soccer ball, shin guards, and water. Parents are welcome to attend and observe from designated areas.
